Psychological processes involved in forming impressions of others. Survey of the factors that influence the way in which we think about the people who make up our social environment and of the laboratory methods with which experimental social psychology investigates person perception. The emphasis is on demonstrating the joint impact of the behaviors performed by others and the biases/expectancies that we bring into the social setting. Prerequisites: PSYC/SSP 153 or SSP/PSYC 121.
