This is the third in a series of four courses to prepare students for certification as EMT-P. Medical problems that paramedics may encounter are covered including neurological problems, medical emergencies, environmental injuries, psychiatric emergencies, etc. Special emergencies such as treatment of the neonatal newborn, pediatric and geriatric patients also are covered.
