Einstein's physics is designed for the non physics major who desires to understand 20th century physics. The course begins with a review of the inadequacies of classical physics, then develops the ideas of relativity (both special and general) and quantum mechanics. The course includes a weekly two-hour laboratory exercise. Algebra is used extensively. Prior knowledge of classical physics is necessary. Prerequisite: MATH 99 and PHYS 100. (SFCC)
