This is a WECM Course Number. An overview of licensing as a real estate broker and salesperson, ethics of practice, titles to and conveyancing of real estate, legal descriptions, law of agency, deeds, encumbrances and liens, distinctions between personal and real property, contracts, appraisal, finance and regulations, closing procedures, and real estate mathematics. Also includes federal, state, and local laws relating to housing discrimination, housing credit discrimination, and community reinvestment. This course must be taken concurrently with RELE 1201. This course is cross-listed as RELE 2309. The student may register for either RELE 2209 or RELE 2309, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (2 Lec.)
