PREREQ: Eligibility for MATH 084 and ENGL&101. Explores the effects of disease, infectious and non-communicable, structural inequality and the social determinants of health inequalities, political structure and public health infrastructure of individuals and countries. Gain a broad understanding of health in the world today and the field of global health. Understand the epidemiology and cultural constraints to prepare for travel and work in other parts of the world. There is a service-learning component for an optional additional two (2) credits.
