Project managers, team leaders, and work group managers must be able to integrate people, projects, and sponsors inside and outside the organization in order to complete tasks and deliverables on time. This course will teach you effective leadership, the difference between leading and managing, and the various styles of each. Learn through participation in role playing and other activities. It will also include responsibilities, team development, team dynamics, personality types, influence without authority, conflict management, and organizational and cultural influence on a project. Prereq: IT 101 or BUS 169; BUS 236.
