A continuation of material covered in EET 170 including logic fundamentals, logic IC families and their characteristics, logic controls, and associated circuitry. Performance criteria include construction of logic control circuits and measurement of circuit parameters and functions. Topics include logic numbering systems, Boolean algebra, detectors, combinational logic, ADA converters, memories and registers. Course concludes with an introduction to microcomputers and microprocessors. Prerequisite: EET 170. Computer Fee.
