This course addresses the scope of medical records from how to initiate a new patient chart to entering data in the chart. Legal aspects such as confidentiality are covered as well as various types of filing systems and types of reports filed in a medical record. Type of business correspondence are introduced, both incoming and outgoing, in addition to computer applications, USPS rates and regulations and faxing.
