This course includes a variety of lab tests not covered in other modules including pregnancy testing, infectious mononucleosis, blood typing, semen analysis, phenylketonuria, tuberculosis, blood glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) testing. Students will learn the theory-procedure, equipment and supplies, values, safety as well as the practical application of skills by performing the tests in the classroom laboratory.
