This course covers the theory and practical procedures in hematology testing for the physician's office laboratory. Tests that are covered and performed in the lab include white and red blood cell counts, white cell differential, erythrocyte indices, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and automated hematology. Specimen preparation, testing, quality assurance, normal ranges of results and documentation are examples of additional areas included in study. Please note: Supply fee required
