English 0320 teaches the fundamentals of written language that contribute to clear, concise, wellorganized paragraphs. This course emphasizes the correct use of grammar and mechanics in the construction of idiomatically correct simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex sentences. Enrollment in English 0320 is dependent upon the student's performance on the English portion of the THEA test or alternative test instrument. Three class hours and two laboratory hours per week. Credit: Three semester hours (not counted toward a degree or a certificate).
