A study of the Earth from both the geological and humanistic perspectives. Students will learn how geologists "read rocks" to decipher the history of past landscapes, climate, andlife, and apply these skills to explore the geological history of Georgia. For the humanistic perspective, literature and film will be used to focus on the Earth and our understanding of it.
