Description:
Practical, general workplace training supported by an individualized learning plan developed by the employer, college and student. The plan relates the workplace training and experiences to the student's general and technical course of study. The guided external experiences may be paid or unpaid. This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. The student will continue to meet competencies in radiographic procedures and patient care at an advanced level. Students who have successfully completed all required competencies and with the permission of instructor, will be offered an optional rotation in an imaging modality or modalities. Completion of RADR curriculum with 75% or higher in all RADR courses is required. Prerequisite: RADR 2367. Corequisite: RADR 1191. Twenty four hours practicum in field of experience per week. Total contact hours: 384. Credit: Two semester hours.
