Survey of earth sciences throughan examination of natural hazards including causes and effects, of earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, fl oods, landslides, hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfi res, climate change, and impacts of extraterrestrial objects. Discussion will focus on personal and societal adjustments to these hazards. One Saturday fi eld trip may be required.
