4 credits This course will examine the fundamental physical processes utilized by a wide range of technology, including the technology introduced in the ISBT 111 course. Topics from areas including kinematics, energy, thermodynamics, light, and optics will be discussed. The calculus-level math concepts used to describe these topics will be introduced along with their applications. The course will be laboratory-intensive with hands-on group learning experiences. Upon completion of this course, students will be comfortable in a physical science laboratory. Prerequisite: ISBT 111.
