This is a continuation of a survey of Western music history from the Classical Era through twentieth century music styles. Significant composers and their music will be examined through research, score analysis and the use of listening techniques. Compositional and stylistic trends will be explored as well. Students may choose between MUS 337 and 338 to satisfy a music minor degree. Three hours credit. No prerequisite. Spring even years.
