Practice and expansion at the intermediate level of the skill of reading. Selections provide exposure to fields such as literature, culture, history, and communication. Designed to prepare the student for upperlevel French courses with a substantial reading component. A grade of C or better must be earned in order to continue study of French at the 300-level. Three hours credit. Offered every fall or as needed. Prerequisite: FRE 202 or equivalent. Native speakers of French will not be allowed credit for FRE 213.
