A capstone experience in which students, in collaboration with faculty, will be expected to integrate and synthesize the knowledge gained from their study of sociology in conducting an independent research project on some issue of sociological significance. In addition to the written report, students will also be required to make an oral presentation of their findings. Three hours credit. Spring. Prerequisites: Open only to senior sociology majors who have completed, or are currently taking, SOC 303, 318, and 319 or their equivalent.
