Advanced Logic is a continuation of the study of quantitative and symbolic techniques used in formal logic. Topics covered include an advanced study of predicate logic and an introduction to non-classical logics. Students may also review some metalogic proofs and be introduced to topics in the philosophy of logic. Satisfies a humanities/fine arts/English requirement for AA degree. PREREQUISITE: PHIL& 106 with a grade of 2.0 or higher; and eligible for MATH& 141. Satisfies a humanities/fine arts/English requirement for AA degree.
