Sample topics include patterns of legal reasoning, crime and punishment, civil disobedience, affirmative action, freedom of speech, and legal paternalism. Readings may include material from actual legal cases as well as from philosophical essays. Satisfies a humanities/fine arts/English requirement for AA degree.
