Study of the theory and solutions involving first and second order equations, existence and uniqueness theorems, numerical methods of solution, and applications. Additional topics may be chosen from the following: (1) series solutions for differential equations, (2) systems of linear differential equations, 3) LaPlace transforms, 4) stability theory. Graphing calculator required. PREREQUISITE: MATH& 254 with a grade of 2.0 or higher; or instructor's permission. Satisfies a quantitative skills or a natural science requirement for AA degree.
