Introduces students to the concepts and applications of an active website. An active web site creates web pages "on the fly" to meet the specific needs of each user. Students will demonstrate an active web site with client-side and server-side scripting, cookies to maintain a user state, and a database connection. Emphasizes the role of the developer and issues to be considered when creating an active web site. PREREQUISITE: IT 121 and 203.
