Introduction to building design using basic features of REVIT Architecture software. REVIT Architecture software can be applied across the whole building design and documentation process which includes: conceptual design, detailed design, building analysis, construction documentation and visualization. Student will be introduced to the design concept "Building Information Modeling" (BIM) and learn to use REVIT's parametric modeling capabilities to incorporate the industry's BIM concepts. Students will learn more about the whole building design process and help to think beyond design as for cost, the environment and sustainability. PREREQUISITE: Familiarity with Windows Operating System, file management, and instructor's permission.
