Introduces students to the history and theory of what causes or contributes to crime. This broad-based class is interdisciplinary in nature and applies theories in biology, genetics, chemistry, sociology, anthropology and psychology. PREREQUISITE: CJ& 101 or instructor's permission; and CJ 200 or instructor's permission; and ENGL& 101 or higher, or instructor's permission. Cross-listed with SOC 215.
