Overview of current and future mainstreams of the UNIX operating system. Lectures will be reinforced with examples and exercises performed on a UNIX system. Students should be familiar with computers. No previous experience with UNIX is required. PREREQUISITE: BUS E 111 and either IT 102, or BUS E 150 or CS& 131. Formerly C SCI 215. MFG 111 MEASURING SYS LEVEL 1 (3) Modular, group-paced course that includes basic use and care of tools, instruments and equipment used in measurement, layout and inspection. Provides instruction in basic tolerancing, inch and metric measuring systems, Cartesian coordinate system and various quality improvement processes.
