Encourages a student to study independently in a field of his or her choice in communication. Each student meets on a tutorial basis with the instructor. PREREQUISITE: Two courses from the following: CMST& 210, CMST& 230, CMST 212, 215, 238, and 245; a topic that a member of the department is qualified to direct and evaluate; and permission from the division chair and instructor.
