Description:

Students will learn key leadership skills, and then demonstrate their abilities by leading others within our community. Topics include interpersonal communications, servant leadership principles, emotional intelligence, and presentation and coaching skills. Students will spend a portion of each week improving their leadership skills, and then will develop mentoring relationships by educating classes of local high school students about their college experiences. Students will also develop a College Survival Guide to be shared with the high school students as part of their community outreach efforts. PREREQUISITE: Eligible for ENGL 100.
