Students also play the role of investor to experience the market process as it operates through contemporary financial institutions. A survey of the evolution of free market and command economies leads to understanding relationships of business with labor and government in today's mixed economy. PREREQUISITE: Eligible for ENGL 100. Writing skills are recommended. Satisfies a social science requirement for AA degree. Formerly B A 101.
