Students sample the functional operations of any business, e.g., accounting, organization, personnel management, marketing, and social responsibility. Students also play the role of investor to experience the market process as it operates through contemporary financial institutions. A survey of the evolution of free market and command economies leads to understanding relationships of business with labor and government in today's mixed economy.
