Study of major medical third-party payers including coverage offered, eligibility, and reimbursement methodologies. Students learn how to determine case mix index and reimbursement procedures for a variety of healthcare settings, including physician billing, inpatient/outpatient billing, and billing for clinics and labs. PREREQUISITE: BUS E 142, 143, 145 and 146; or instructor's permission.
