Development of medical transcription skills using pre-recorded materials. Emphasis is given to producing mailable transcripts with specific attention given to placement, arrangement, correct spelling, and grammar of letters, medical documents, and laboratory reports to meet AAMT standards. A college level composition course is recommended. PREREQUISITE: BUS E 102 and ENGL 108, or instructor's permission.
