Teaches students the fundamentals of legal research for use in library and computer research. Students will also learn the fundamentals of legal analysis and writing, how to communicate clearly and how to eliminate mechanical errors peculiar to legal writing. Topics include legal reasoning, secondary vs. primary sources of law, basic citation rules and types of legal documents. PREREQUISITE: Eligible for BUS E 103 or instructor's permission; and BUS E 109 and BUS E 130.
