Potters wheel techniques of centering and throwing a variety of shapes, attaching handles and spouts, and fitting lids. Optional advanced hand-building assignments offered. Introduction to kiln stacking and firing. Due to the high demand and limited availability of ceramics classes, students may not enroll on an audit basis and may only repeat a ceramics class once for a grade improvement. Prerequisite: ART 180. [HB, SE]
