Practice in the use and analysis of rhetorical techniques as exemplifi ed in selected prose models. Three hours of lecture per week. Students will be encouraged to develop facility with both formal and informal discourse and will write criticism, factual reports, commentary, autobiography, and various other forms. This course is required for all English majors and minors. Prerequisite: Completion of all required 200-level ENG courses.
