Prerequisite(s): MAT 013, equivalent, or passing score on the college placement test Topics include: a review of elementary algebra, the coordinate plane and functions, linear equations and inequalities, properties of lines, systems of linear equations, polynomials, rational expressions and quadratic equations. The use of a graphing calculator is essential. TI83/84 graphing calculator is required. Note: A minimum grade of "C" is required formovement from one remedial course to another and for completion of the remedial requirements to qualify for credit courses.
