For Industrial Electrical Technology students only: Prerequisites: ELT 111, ELT 112;Co-requisites: ELT 118 For Non-Industrial Electrical Technology students: Prerequisites/Co-requisites: IFC 101, IFC 102 Introduces operational theory, systems terminology, field wiring/installation, and start-up procedures for programmable logic controls. Emphasis will be placed on PLC programming, connections, installations, and start-up procedures. Topics include: introductory programming, PLC functions, and terminology, processor unit and power supply, introductory numbering system, relay/programming logic, and field wiring/installation and start-up.
