Primarily designed for students planning to major in science and science-related fields. Topics include atomic theory, periodic law, chemical bonding, molecular structure, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, nomenclature, physical states of matter, and solutions. Graphing calculator recommended; check with the instructor for the most appropriate one. Lecture 3 hours. Recitation 1 hour. Special fee.
