Prerequisites: CHEM 1212 and CHEM 1212L, each with a "C" or better. Co-requisite: CHEM 2641L. This is the first of a two-semester sequence of organic chemistry. It includes an introduction to structure, stereochemistry, mechanism, reactivity, functional groups, and synthesis. This course is intended for students majoring in science, engineering, pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, and pre-pharmacy.
