Prerequisite: College Level Reading (CPT 83+ or equivalent); admission to the BCC Honors Program. An introduction to principles of biology to include a study of: cell structure, function and reproduction; inheritance; development, metabolism, photosynthesis, evolution, and ecology of populations. The program is open to students admitted to the BCC Honors Program. In addition to the regular BSCC1010 course content, students will be expected to complete a research project. Two hours of lecture and two hours of lab per week.
