Focuses on advanced hand-building and/or wheel-throwing techniques in order to strengthen a student's personal expression and challenge development of his or her personal style. The course will have emphasis on individual instruction and discussions based on the student's interests. Individual research of innovative construction and firing methods, as well as ceramics technology and history of ceramic art will be part of the curriculum. Prerequisite: Art 265.
