Lawrence, William Carlos Williams, Edna St.Vincent Millay, W.H. Auden, Stevie Smith, Philip Larkin, Elizabeth Bishop, Langston Hughes, Allen Ginsberg, Audre Lorde, Adrienne Rich, and Seamus Heaney. Literary movements and social conflicts that distinguish the period are discussed. Prerequisite: ENG 200
