Wave transformations (reflection, refraction, diffraction, shoaling, and breaking). Waves and water-level prediction, design wave. Wave probability distributions and applied statistics. Nearshore ocean waves and currents. Littoral and sediment transport. (Lec. 3) Pre: MCE 354 and OCE 301 or permission of instructor.
