Students in the course will live in and study four different tropical ecosystems. The course starts in San Jose, the capital city of Costa Rica from there students travel to the lowland rainforest of LaSelva, the dry tropical forest of Polo Verde National Park. The cloud forest of Mentenevde and the Pacific Costal forest of Manuel Autonia National Park. The course will also visit and explore two active volcanoes.
