This course explores the concepts and techniques of crime prevention. The roles of the criminal justice system, public and private service agencies as well as citizen involvement are examined. Special emphasis is placed on the successes and failures of the various approaches, strategies and programs in crime prevention. Prerequisites: CJ 111 Intro to Crim Just & CJ 112 Crime & Delinq.
