1 semester, 3 credits This course is designed to expose students to a variety of curriculum models and instructional strategies related to teaching science and mathematics in elementary school. Students will develop science and mathematics lessons reflecting national standards. Students will explore methods to meet diverse educational needs, ways to manage activity-based classrooms, and techniques of assessment. Field experience in an elementary school required.
