An investigation of how psychological processes influence the marketing and consumption of products as well as the marketing and acceptance of ideas. Topics include how advertising attempts to change attitudes and behavior, the influence of motivation theory on advertising content, how persuasion influences the adoption of products and political beliefs, and how cultural differences impact consumption patterns.
