Fulfills a course requirement in the Theatre Core ConcentrationPrerequisite: THEAT 120 or consent of the instructorA detailed examination of technical theatre, the design process, andmethods for lighting, scenery, and costuming. Sound design andtechnology will also be introduced. Discussions will include playanalysis, period style, and the application of historical research todesign projects. Students will be expected to narrow their focus toone or more design areas. The class will culminate in a portfolioreview.
