Preservationists complete a wide range of documentation projects in the course of their work. In this course students become conversant in researching and documenting historic structures. Students gain experience in state-level documentation (neighborhood surveys) and more extensive federal documentation (the National Register of Historic Places); techniques of photographic and cartographic recording are also part of the curriculum. 3 credits.
