Prerequisites: JRN 02310 Students write, gather, edit, and present a cable newscast on Rowan University's closed-circuit cable system and adapt that newscast for transmission over the World Wide Web. Students learn the duties and responsibilities of all television newscast personnel, including anchors, executive producers, writers, directors, camera operators, audio operators, graphic artists, and editors. During the semester, students rotate through various duties, including writing, anchor and reporter positions.
