Fundamentals of air pollution, measurement and control, legal enforcement, major sources of atmospheric emissions, air quality monitoring and sampling systems. Also included are operation and calibration of air monitoring instruments, and physical and chemical analyses of particulate and gaseous samples. Code 2 course fee. Prerequisite: CHEM 182
