This course continues to emphasize curriculum, instructional methods, and assessment of students with mild/moderate disabilities focusing on students with emotional and behavioral problems. Assessment data used to develop and implement logically ordered instructional approaches is integrated into the Individualized Education Plan. During field experiences, opportunities are provided to use materials and make adaptations for individual and small-group learning activities. Field experience is required. Prerequisites: SED305 and acceptance into the Special Education Program. 3 credits.
